You can not only use it to find your smartphone but also create an Internet of Things from your non-connected devices. It lets you use your iOS/Android smartphone or tablet to monitor, locate, and control things.
Gecko tags alert you when your items are moved. You can also use smart gestures on your tag to send emergency alerts with your geo-location to your friends. It also alerts you when your tag moves out of Bluetooth range (virtual leash). It has a line of sight range of up to 100 feet. Gecko is equipped with a LED light, buzzer, an ambient thermometer and has a micro USB port.
